Burma Ruby Sapphire Cab
The ruby is the red center area of the stone. The sapphire is the bluish grey part mostly beneath the ruby. Two colors in one piece of corundum. Long oval shape with flat bottom weighing 36 carats. The stone looks "frazzled" with repeated twinning planes in thin sheets potentially effecting its durability. Girdle edges are sharp. A study stone for the inquisitive minded person. Mogok origin.
